GitHub integration helps you turn session findings into actionable issues. Connect GitHub to your project, choose a repository, then create issues directly from a session replay.
What you can do
- Create GitHub issues from a session in one place.
- Include a session link so engineering can see exactly what happened.
- (Optional) Let AI create issues automatically from sessions when enabled.
Step 1: Connect GitHub
- Open your Revisit project.
- Go to Project Settings → Integrations.
- Under GitHub, click Connect to GitHub.
- Approve access.
Step 2: Choose a repository
- Select the repository where issues should be created.
- (Optional) Enable the AI option if you want automatic issue creation.
- Click Save Settings.
Step 3: Create a GitHub issue from a session
- Open a session replay in Revisit.
- Click Create GitHub Issue.
- Write a clear title and a short description.
- Click Create Issue.
Optional: Auto‑create issues with AI
If you enable the AI option in your GitHub integration settings, Revisit can automatically create issues based on sessions.
- Start with a small trial so you can review what gets created.
- Use a dedicated triage label/workflow in GitHub if your team prefers review first.
