GitHub integration helps you turn session findings into actionable issues. Connect GitHub to your project, choose a repository, then create issues directly from a session replay.

What you can do

  • Create GitHub issues from a session in one place.
  • Include a session link so engineering can see exactly what happened.
  • (Optional) Let AI create issues automatically from sessions when enabled.

Step 1: Connect GitHub

  1. Open your Revisit project.
  2. Go to Project Settings → Integrations.
  3. Under GitHub, click Connect to GitHub.
  4. Approve access.

Step 2: Choose a repository

  1. Select the repository where issues should be created.
  2. (Optional) Enable the AI option if you want automatic issue creation.
  3. Click Save Settings.

Step 3: Create a GitHub issue from a session

  1. Open a session replay in Revisit.
  2. Click Create GitHub Issue.
  3. Write a clear title and a short description.
  4. Click Create Issue.

Optional: Auto‑create issues with AI

If you enable the AI option in your GitHub integration settings, Revisit can automatically create issues based on sessions.

  • Start with a small trial so you can review what gets created.
  • Use a dedicated triage label/workflow in GitHub if your team prefers review first.

Troubleshooting

I don’t see my repository

  • Confirm GitHub is connected in Project Settings.
  • Use the refresh button in the GitHub settings panel.
