Every plan includes a 14-day free trial:
- No Credit Card Required: Start your trial without providing payment information
- Full Access: All features are available during the trial period
- Session Limits: Trial includes the 100 session limit
- Cancel Anytime: Cancel before trial ends to avoid charges
Changing Plans
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time:
- Upgrades: Take effect immediately with prorated billing
- Downgrades: Scheduled to apply at the end of your current billing period
- Proration: You'll be charged or credited for the difference
- Session Limits: New limits apply immediately for upgrades
- No Setup Fees: Plan changes don't incur additional charges
Note: Downgrades are scheduled to prevent immediate loss of access to higher-tier features.
Cancellation
Cancel your subscription at any time:
- Access Continues: You keep access until the end of your paid period
- No Immediate Termination: Cancellation takes effect at period end

- Failed Payments: You'll be notified if payment fails and given time to update
Billing Information

- VAT Number: EU VAT number for tax-exempt billing (optional)
- Currency: All prices displayed in EUR, net of VAT

- Reset Daily: Limits reset at midnight UTC each day
- Tracking: Monitor your usage in the project dashboard
Limit Warnings
Revisit provides warnings as you approach your limits:
- 80% Warning: Email notification when you reach 80% of your daily limit
- 100% Warning: Final warning when you reach your daily limit
- Dashboard Alerts: Visual indicators in your project dashboard
- Grace Period: Brief grace period before recording stops
- Upgrade Prompt: Suggestions to upgrade if you consistently hit limits
What Happens When Limits Are Exceeded
If you exceed your daily session limit:
- Recording Stops: New sessions won't be recorded until the next day
- Existing Data: Previously recorded sessions remain accessible
- No Data Loss: Your existing session data is preserved
- Upgrade Option: You can upgrade immediately to continue recording
- Automatic Reset: Limits reset automatically at midnight UTC
AI Analysis Billing
Revisit offers two flexible options for AI-powered session analysis. Choose the model that works best for you.
Option 1: Use Your Own Google Gemini API Key
Bring your own API key and pay Google directly:
- No Markup: Revisit doesn't charge for AI - you pay Google at their published rates
- Direct Billing: Charges appear on your Google Cloud bill, not Revisit invoice
- Full Control: Manage your AI budget directly with Google
- Setup: Get a free API key from Google AI Studio
- Configuration: Enter your key in Project Settings → AI Usage → Mode
Best for: Teams who want direct control over AI costs or already have Google Cloud credits.
Option 2: Pay-as-you-go (Revisit AI Key)
Let Revisit handle AI billing - we charge you only for tokens used:
- No API Key Setup: Start using AI immediately without configuring external services
- Metered Billing: Pay only for the tokens you actually consume each month
- Transparent Pricing: Pricing based on Google Gemini's costs with minimal markup
- Monthly Billing: AI usage is billed monthly via Stripe alongside your subscription
- Spend Caps: Set optional monthly spending limits to control costs (e.g., €50/month)
- Auto-Stop: When spend cap is reached, AI features are paused until next billing cycle or you raise the limit
- Usage Tracking: View daily token usage and spending in Project Settings → AI Usage
- Payment Required: A valid payment method must be on file to use pay-as-you-go
Best for: Teams who want simplicity and don't want to manage separate Google Cloud billing.
AI Pay-as-you-go VAT Treatment
The same VAT rules apply to AI usage as your subscription plan:
- EU Business (with VAT, excluding Hungary): Reverse charge applies - you pay net price and account for VAT in your country
- Hungarian Business (with VAT): 27% Hungarian VAT is charged - you pay gross price (net + VAT)
- Non-EU Business (with VAT): Export with 0% VAT - you pay net price only
- Consumers (no VAT number): 27% Hungarian VAT is included in the price
Note: Prices and VAT treatment are determined by your billing country and VAT number settings in Project Settings → Billing.
Switching Between AI Billing Options
You can switch between AI billing modes at any time:
- Own Key → Pay-as-you-go: Add billing details and payment method in settings, then enable pay-as-you-go mode
- Pay-as-you-go → Own Key: Enter your Google Gemini API key in settings; pay-as-you-go billing stops immediately
- No Commitment: Change modes as often as needed with no penalties
- Usage Tracking: View AI token usage history regardless of which mode you use
